The Night Shift

The desk, the stash, and whatever I find first.

When I sit down at my desk at night and I'm finally not needed by anyone, I dig into my stash. Whatever I come across directs the night.

Sometimes I journal, because there's a fountain pen freshly filled with an ink I haven't used yet. Sometimes I make a collage out of stickers. Sometimes I draw something just so I can use a new notebook or a fresh set of markers.

For a long time I thought I needed to pick one thing. I don't. Daisy Doodle is what happens when you stop picking: a space where I put everything I love, and where you're welcome to mix it however you like, or try something a bit out of the ordinary.

The story so far

For a very long time, Daisy tried to be part of the basic, monochromatic and minimal sticker community. Fast forward a few years, she finally managed to break free.

She went through her extensive sticker collection and started to find herself again.

No order, no set colour palette. Only a chaotic mixture of comic book style and pop-art, which together represents the personality of a charming and eccentric hippo, and the rascals she recruited along the way.
